Ain't Life Strange?

The Ideal Life, according to Mark Twain

Good friends, good books and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life.  -  Mark Twain

Butterfly on Book Art Print by Cora Büttenbender

I’m so inspired by what I read, and I thought it would be great to reunite all of my inspirations into one place.  This will allow me to share one of my passions (reading), which is to me as necessary as water and air.  And the love of books and reading has brought good friends into my life….you don’t get through anything without good friends.  Or good books, for that matter.   So I’ll be able to share my good friends’ recommendations here as well.

  2. I forgot to mention, Mark Twain is one of my favorites! Love his stuff, particularly his quips and what I call his “Twainisms”! Hehe! Leave it to me to bastardize the English language!

    My regards,

I know God will not give me anything I can’t handle. I just wish that He didn’t trust me so much.

Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
